PULL HANDLE
DESCRIPTION
The Bar Pull—often referred to by the design name “Mellow” Pull in high-end cabinetry—is a contemporary take on the traditional handle. While a standard bar pull can sometimes feel industrial or sharp, the “Mellow” variation is defined by its softness, ergonomic curves, and organic warmth.

Design Philosophy: The “Mellow” Aesthetic
The “Mellow” Bar Pull represents a shift away from the harsh, cold lines of metal hardware toward a more “human-centric” design.
The Profile: Unlike a standard cylinder, the Mellow design often features pill-shaped or rounded ends and a subtly thickened center. This tapering creates a visual “softness” (hence the name) that makes the handle look like it has been smoothed over by water or time.
Visual Weight: It strikes a balance between being substantial enough to feel premium and slim enough to look modern. It doesn’t “shout” from the front of the cabinet; instead, it invites the user to touch it.
The Scandi-Minimalist Kitchen: Pairing Mellow Oak pulls with matte white or sage green cabinets creates a calm, breezy atmosphere.
Mid-Century Modern Dressers: Walnut Mellow pulls are a perfect match for vintage-inspired furniture, adding a touch of 1950s craftsmanship.
Oversized Wardrobes: Because this design can be scaled up to long lengths (1800mm+), it is often used vertically on tall pantry or closet doors to create a striking architectural line.
