Aluminium Sliding Window Short Push Lock
A sliding window push lock is a type of lock mechanism commonly used in doors and windows. It is designed to provide added security by preventing the sliding panel from being opened or moved when the lock is engaged. The lock consists of two main components – a spring-loaded latch and the sliding panel, while the lock housing is affixed to the a lock housing. The latch is typically attached to one part of
stationary frame or track of the door or window. When the lock is in the unlocked position, the latch is retracted inside the lock housing, allowing the sliding panel to move freely. To engage the lock, you push or slide the latch outwards until it fits securely into a corresponding slot or hole in the frame or track. Once in place, the lock prevents the sliding panel from being pushed or forced open from the outside.
