CLV Digital lock for hidden door
The CLV028 is the definitive solution for architectural “invisible” entrances, slatted (grille) feature walls, and high-security secret compartments. Designed to be mounted entirely on the interior, it leaves the exterior facade of your door completely untouched and free of hardware.
1. Core Operation & Access Control
- Invisible Master Hub: A “zero-footprint” design that supports encrypted App Control, NFC Card, Wireless Remote, and high-precision Biometric Fingerprint unlocking.
- Real-Time Status Alerts: Integrated low-battery logic provides early-warning acoustic signals and push notifications to your smartphone.
- Precision Reversible Latch: A symmetrical lock body design that allows the latch tongue to be adjusted for Left-Hand or Right-Hand door swings without ordering different parts.
2. Fail-Safe & Emergency Engineering
- Smart Anti-Lockout Logic: To ensure life safety, the CLV028 features a Proactive Unlock System. If battery levels drop to a critical point and warnings are ignored, the lock automatically retracts the bolt to prevent users from being trapped inside a secret room.
- Triple-A Power Efficiency: Optimized for low energy consumption using 3x AAA Alkaline batteries (included), providing a standby life of approximately 10–12 months.
- Mechanical Bypass (Emergency Wrench): Every CLV028 includes a specialized high-tensile wrench. By utilizing a discreetly drilled Emergency Access Hole, you can manually override the motor and retract the latch even during a total electronic failure.
3. Installation & Versatility
- Non-Handed Architecture: Simplifies inventory and installation. No need to pre-determine door handing; the internal mechanism is universal.
- 180° Hex-Key Adjustment: Simply use the provided hex key to rotate the latch 180° to match the strike plate of your door frame.
- M8 Spindle Compatibility: Designed to fit standard 8mm x 8mm (M8) square spindles, allowing you to pair the internal lock body with a wide variety of architectural handles or “dummy” pulls.

Question |
Answer |
|
What if the power runs out? |
The lock will sound an alarm as power gets low. At its lowest point, it will automatically unlock to prevent you from being locked out. |
|
Can I lock it after the power dies? |
For safety, the lock cannot be engaged without power. The latch will remain retracted, and the door will stay in a “normally open” state. |
|
What handle should I buy? |
Any handle with an M8 size connecting rod will be compatible with the lock’s hole positions. |
|
Can it be used on aluminum frames? |
Only for fingerprint models. NFC, Card, and App versions will not work because aluminum interferes with the NFC signal. |
|
Why is the sensor sometimes unresponsive? |
The sensing area is located specifically where the battery pack is housed. It will not detect signals in other areas. |
|
How thick can the door be? |
The thickness from the lock body to the door surface cannot exceed 25mm, or the sensor will fail. |
|
Can I require a card swipe to lock? |
Yes. There are three modes; the factory default requires a card swipe to engage the lock. |
Mandatory Emergency Hole Guide
The manual emphasizes that the Emergency Hole is vital for “Scenario 2” (doors with a 7-shaped frame structure) and highly recommended for others. This hole allows the specialized wrench to reach the mechanism if the electronics fail.
