The Trim external control for panic & emergency devices is part of the range of accessories for rim devices. It can be combined with all ISEO rim panic & emergency devices in all configurations & locking points. It has an anti-vandal system & is available in various finishes: black, white, metal grey, Endur4nce (metal-like finish) and also in a version with PVD-inox finish. It can be provided with a status signalling microswitch, an open-door key anti-removal device & a lowered handle, perfect for industrial entrance doors. The special AntiGerm antibacterial treatment (only in painted versions) releases silver ions for the entire life of the product: it requires no maintenance & makes this device perfect for being fitted in buildings in which hygiene & health protection are important and essential. The Trim external control is made in compliance with EN1125 and EN179 standards.

ISEO TRIM-Tronic electromechanical handle or similar unit interface with multipoint locking panic bars, providing a long awaited solution to the problem where a door is opened by a panic bar from the inside but cannot be accessed from the outside. The solution must allow to use access control on panic exit, overriding the bar from the outside whilst still allowing safe emergency exit from the building. The handle has to interact with all ISEO panic exit devices with 1, 2 & 2 top & bottom locking points, & conceived to comply with the requirements of EN 1125:08 standard. The handle has to work on single & double doors & can replace any mechanical ISEO outside access unit. Provided with anti-vandalism handle & must be easily installed on any type of frame (aluminium, pvc, wood, etc.).

The system needs 12 Vdc power supply with 2A peak & it can be combined with mechanical mortice panic exit devices & has to have mechanical free access mode to allow free access from outside for a programmed time. The handle must be reversible to be installed both on right & left handed doors. The handle can be enabled & disabled through the cylinder & has to have 2 signalling LEDs indicating the handle enabling status. Handle enabled & disabled by two remote electric pulses connected with cable & connector which also transfers the power supply & signals handle status.

The remote electric pulse must guarantee the handle enabled for 5 seconds or for the time the pushbutton is pressed or key disabled. The handle must be of zamak case & has to have both the handle & key status signaling output (enabled/disabled) with enabling/disabling push button input & mechanical key locking push button input. European single profile cylinders must fit with mm 40 (30-10) & handle follower 8mm. The operating temperature must be -20°C to 60°C. The handle must be compatible with R6 European mono profile cylinder 40mm with 3 keys & connecting cable 5m.
